Ankle Cartilage Surgery

A fracture is a partial or complete break in a bone. Fractures in the ankle can range from the less serious avulsion injuries (small pieces of bone that have been pulled off) to severe shattering-type breaks of the tibia, fibula, or both. Ankle fractures are common injuries that are most often caused by the ankle rolling inward or outward. Many people mistake an ankle fracture for an ankle sprain, but they are quite different and therefore require an accurate and early diagnosis.

Metatarsal Surgery

Any injury or deformity found in one of the five metatarsal bones (the big size bones seen behind on your each toe) can give you certain pinching pain, which in turn make the walking a difficult thing to do along with finding a number of other symptoms. The metatarsal surgery is carried out for a number of reasons; however, it is more done for fixing the following conditions and problems found in the foot, which are as under:

Ankle Arthritis

Arthritis can be an unnerving condition to bear caused due to the inflammation in the joints. It causes pinching pain along with the stiffness in the joints over our body. Unfortunately, this medical ailment is among the most common ailments found in the same small joints over ankle and foot. As per experts, there are more than thousand forms of arthritis and most of them deal with the pain related to ankle and foot.The symptoms of arthritis can vary from one patient to the other basis the joint affected. In a number of cases, these are inflamed and painful. Some of the common symptoms are under:

  • Pain along with motion
  • Pain getting flared up with extreme activities
  • Tenderness with applied pressure over the joint
  • Joint swelling, redness and warmth
  • Increased amount of pain swelling during the morning time after resting or sitting
  • Difficult while walking and getting any of the above discussed symptoms

Torn Achilles Tendon

The Achilles tendon is an important part of your leg. It is found just behind and above your heel and it joins the heel bone to the half muscles. Its main function is to help you bend your feet downwards at the ankle. Torn Achilles tendon is a condition where pain, swelling or stiffness along with weakness is noticed in the Achilles tendon.
