Ms. Zahra has extensive experience with over 13 years in clinical applied Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy. She graduated with merit in Master’s Degree in Musculoskeletal Sciences from Mumbai, India.

Ms. Zahra has been working at Emirates Sports Med since 2017 and is presently the Head of Physiotherapy Department. Her major focus is to building a cross functional team, to offer comprehensive array of treatment procedures alongside evidence-based practice.

She has been recently awarded for her outstanding achievements and remarkable contributions in the field of Physiotherapy, by the prestigious Bharat Gaurav Puraskar Organization, India.

Ms. Zahra has taken considerable post graduate international diploma courses in Sports Rehab from NASM (U.K) & AFAA (U.S) Associations, Dry Needling (U.K & S.A), Cupping (Hijamah), Manual Therapy (COMT-Mulligans), IASTM (U.S).

She’s also an expert in delivering quick techniques and remedies for conditions related to the neck, back, hip and knees. She believes in the quote “Movement is medicine” and follows it in her routine practice. She is always looking forward to learning new methods of rehabilitation and is constantly updating herself with recent advances in physiotherapy to enhance quality of treatment & patient satisfaction.
