Dr. Waleed Alshehhi is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Emirates Specialty Hospital with extensive expertise in diagnosing and treating rheumatic, musculoskeletal, and autoimmune diseases. He completed his medical education and CCST Rheumatology training in Ireland, graduating from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completing his specialist training at Saint Vincent’s Hospital.

Dr. Alshehhi is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, an accredited EULAR trainer in musculoskeletal ultrasound, and an Examiner for the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI).

A recognized leader in rheumatology, Dr. Alshehhi is the founder and two-time President of the Emirates Society for Rheumatology (ESR), former Chairman of the Asia Pacific League Against Rheumatism (APLAR) in Dubai, and Secretary-General of the Arab League Against Rheumatism (ARLAR). He has chaired and presented at over 200 national, regional, and international rheumatology meetings and was awarded Best Physician in the UAE in 2014.
