Dr. Shahla is an accomplished general surgeon, having more than 25 years of experience with 19 years being post fellowship. Dr. Shahla completed her MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical Health and Sciences (LUMHS), Pakistan. She is a Fellow of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).

 In the past, Dr. Shahla worked in a large 3600 bedded tertiary care hospital (LUMHS) and has been associated with several reputed hospitals in the UAE (Zayed Military Hospital, Universal Hospital, Al Rabha Hospital, Cosmesurge & Mediclinic).
