  1st Class, from the beginning to D-Day, including regular follow-up.

  Anybody delaying having their procedure done, as I did through not being sure about choosing the right consultant and being apprehensive at being cut open, go and spend 10 minutes in Paul’s company and book that initial consultation. Straight talking, detailed diagnosis, skilled surgeon to the highest level.

  Having 100% confidence in your consultant is the key factor, which nobody really knows at the beginning. Having now gone through the operation, some 6 days ago, I can give you full honest feedback.

  My procedure was a full left hip replacement, zero pain after the operation, just soreness from the insertion, which to be expected. Not needing any pain relief after day 4, which is great as I’m not a fan of tablets.

  Up walking with crutches day one, able to put a good amount of load, restriction only from insertion in buttock, due to some expected swelling. Day 2, climbed stairs, swelling and still some restriction through full motion.

  Fast forward Day 5, using walking stick no pain just a waiting game for the final swelling to go down and insertion to heel, but hip all good.

  Cannot recommend enough Dr Paul!
  Here’s our experience: from out first appointment, Dr Paul showed care, knowledge and professionalism. He listen to my mum and took time to explain the problem, proposed surgery and what to expect. We felt reassured and confident. After the operation he attended to my mum several times a day and gave very high level of care.
