Dr. Nayzak Tahir Raoof is a experienced anesthesiologist with a distinguished career spanning over four decades. He earned his medical degree from Mosul University in Iraq and furthered his academic pursuits with a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of London. His expertise is recognized by his Fellowship in the Royal College of Anesthetists and his certification in specialized training in anesthesia.

Dr. Raoof’s professional journey began in the UK, where he served as a consultant anesthesiologist at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey. In 1999, he made a significant move to Dubai, joining the American Hospital Dubai. Over the course of 17 years, he held various leadership positions, including President of Medical Staff, Head of Education, and Chief of Anesthesia Department. His contributions to the hospital extended to administrative roles such as Assistant Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer.

In 2016, Dr. Raoof joined Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery in Dubai, where he continues to serve as Chief Medical Officer and Chief of Anesthesia Department. His extensive experience and leadership skills have made him a valuable asset to the healthcare industry. He has actively participated in 10 successful JCI surveys and has been a member of key committees, including the Local Medical Advisory Committee at the Harvard Office in Dubai Healthcare City and the special committee for the Dubai Patients Safety Index.
