Dr. Meltem Tank completed her graduation from the Faculty of Medicine from the University of Istanbul in 1994 and her Masters/ Facharzt in Germany in 2004.
She worked in Mathilden Hospital /Budigen-Frankfurt for 1 1/2 years. After moving to Bethesda Hospital Wuppertal/ a University Hospital of Bochum from 1997- 2002, specializing in gynecological disorders and surgical treatment of uterine, ovarian, and cervical diseases. Together with, surgical treatment of the female breast. She actively treated breast, ovarian, cervical, and uterine cancers with surgeries and chemotherapy.

Dr.Tank has also trained for urogynecological disorders and surgeries.

After receiving her German board license as a specialist, she moved to Sankt Antonius Hospital Wuppertal/ University Hospital of Düsseldorf in order to undertake additional training for high-risk pregnancies, such as preeclampsia gestational diabetes and premature deliveries. St. Antonius is one of the largest Maternity Hospitals in Germany.

In 2004 she came to Abu Dhabi and started working as a gynecologist and obstetrician. Dr. Meltem Tank is one of the leading Menopause & Female Cancer Screening experts. Her specialties include teenage health consultations, HPV vaccines, prenatal checklists, and menopause.
