Dr. Hecham Harb holds an honorary position of obesity/weight control fellow at Austin Health, Melbourne, Australia. He received Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Endocrinology and Internal & Acute Medicine and also obtained certificate of speciality in Endocrinology and Diabetes from Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK. Dr. Hecham worked as a consultant Endocrinologist at the Albury Wodonga Health and MedAlliance Physicians Group in Australia. On the academic front, Dr. Hecham is also working as an Adjunct senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Australia. Dr. Hecham is also a member of Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP, UK), Endocrine Society of Australia and International Endocrine Society.

Dr. Hecham completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Damascus University and received his Internal Medicine Speciality certification from the Syrian Board. In the Middle East, he worked in Bahrain as a consultant Endocrinologist and Internal Medicine at the Royal Bahrain Hospital and Bahrain Speciality Hospital and with Dr. Suliman Al Habib Medical Group in Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Hecham special interest is in management of people with Obesity and its complications, specifically Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
