Dr. Fadhil Al Douri is a highly respected Consultant Endocrinologist with more than five decades of experience in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Internal Medicine. He earned his MBChB from the University of Baghdad and completed his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom, obtaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP-UK) and later Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, London (FRCP).

Dr. Fadhil has held prestigious clinical, academic, and leadership positions across Iraq, the United Kingdom, and the UAE. His extensive experience includes serving as Head of Endocrinology and Internal Medicine departments, Director General of the Iraqi Institute and Center of Endocrinology and Diabetes, President of the Iraqi Diabetes Society, and President of the Iraqi Society of Endocrinology.

Currently, Dr. Fadhil serves as Consultant Endocrinologist and Head of the Department of Endocrinology. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and has dedicated his career to advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders. His special interest lies in diabetes care, thyroid diseases, pituitary disorders, obesity management, and endocrine research.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Fadhil has made significant contributions to medical education and research. He has supervised numerous Master’s and PhD candidates, served on postgraduate medical specialty boards, and held academic appointments including Clinical Professor of Medicine, Associate Dean, and Clerkship Director at Gulf Medical University. His research work has been published internationally, particularly in the fields of diabetes, thyroid disorders, acromegaly, and endocrine complications.
