Assistant Professor Dr. Aiham Alshawwa is a leading ENT Consultant and Specialist , German Board certified with over 13 years of professional, hands-on experience in his field. Asst. Prof. Dr. Alshawwa’s medical journey started in Syria 1999, where he acquired a Doctor of Medicine from the Damascus University. He then moved to Germany where he earned a German Medical License, as well as accreditations as an ENT Specialist and later worked as an ENT Consultant for five Years. Over the course of his career, Asst. Prof. Dr. Alshawwa has amassed extensive knowledge and experience, starting out as an ENT Resident at Marburg University Clinic in Hessen and later at the academic teaching Hospitals of Jena university in Thringen. This was followed by a number of positions at several notable medical institutions, including ENT Specialist at Helios Clinic, ENT consultant in Elbland Clinic the academic teaching hospital of Dresden university, ENT Senior Consultant at Leipzigs Acqua Clinic and, most recently in 2018 ENT Consultant at the Albertus Centre in Moenchengladbach, Germany. Asst. Prof. Dr. Alshawwa is highly trained in a number of medical ENT procedures, including Laser Surgery of the Larynx, Functional Rhinoplasty and Advanced Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Additionally, he holds vast surgical experience in Snoring operations and complicated correction/Revision of the nasal Septum, among others.
