Dr. Abdelhakim Elganyni is a distinguished Gastroenterologist and Head of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Unit at Emirates Specialty Hospital, Dubai Healthcare City. He is widely recognized as a leading regional expert in inflammatory bowel diseases, with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Dr. Elganyni completed his primary medical education and early gastroenterology training in Egypt, followed by several years of clinical practice in Saudi Arabia. He subsequently advanced his subspecialty training in the United Kingdom, where he developed a focused expertise in IBD management, including advanced biologic and small-molecule therapies, multidisciplinary care, and evidence-based treatment optimization.
