Pediatric Minimally invasive surgery is a special way of performing surgery using smaller instruments and smaller incisions than traditional surgical methods included laparoscopy on children and thoracoscopy on children. The goal of minimally invasive surgery is to perform operations through very small incisions a mere fraction of the size of the incisions used in traditional surgery with equal or superior clinical outcomes and less impact on a child’s body and organs.
