Dr. Vera obtained her MBBS from Clinical Center, University of Sarajevo, Federal Ministry of Health. She subsequently went on to do her MD in Obstetrics & Gynecology from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Additionally, she did Ultrasonography post graduation course in Gynecology and Fetal Medicine from the Medical University of Zagreb, Croatia. She also did Advanced Life Support Group M.O.E.T (RCOG) certification, 3D & 4D Sonography course (Dr. Asim Kurjak), Budva Montenegro.

She has also completed Gynaecological Endoscopy course from Outpatient Bettocchi Hysteroscopy, Early detection of Cervical Cancer and Colposcopy course from Clinical Center, Ljubljana, Slovenia and Malignant Dysplasia of Genital Tract Cytology and Diagnosis course from Government Hospital, Maribor, Slovenia.

Dr. Vera is member of many associations including ECCA (European Cervical Cancer Association), Association of Gynecologists & Perinatologists of Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatian Medical Association for Ultrasonography in Medicine and Biology.

Dr. Vera has worked extensively in UAE. In her last assignment, she was associated with Burjeel Day Surgery Center as specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Vera is fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Macedonian and basic Arabic.
