Dr. Sima Bijani is an accomplished and intricately trained Emergency Care Specialist. She finished her MD from the Tehran Islamic Azad Medical University, Iran in 2004. She has also completed a Postgraduate Specialization in Emergency Medicine from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran in 2017. Dr Sima has also concluded an Accident and Emergency Care Observership from the esteemed Guy’s St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation, London, UK.

Following her completion of undergraduate medicine, Dr. Sima has gained more than 10 years of experience as a General Physician at numerous facilities such as Shahid Bahonar Hospital in Karaj and Bu-Ali Hospital in Tehran through 2005-2014. She has also headed the department of emergency medicine at Jam Hospital, Tehran, Iran since 2019. Working in several prominent hospitals and clinics inIran as an Emergency Medicine Specialist, she was able to avail a diversified as well as concrete knowledge and expertise in the field.

Dr. Sima is a certified BLS provider from National Health Care Provider Solutions (NHCPS) and has certification in ATLS from the American College of Surgeons and ACLS and PALS from the American Heart Association.

In her many years of practice, Dr. Sima has had journal publications, delivered numerous presentations and speeches. One of those are “The trend of Antibiotic resistance in shigellosis and diagnostic value of ESR for its differentiation from viral gastroenteritis in Aliasghar hospital, Tehran, 1996-2006”. She has also carried out a state-of-the-art presentation on “The assessment of prevalence and contributing factors of difficult peripheral venous access” as well as several poster presentations.
