Dr. Rahul is a skilled and compassionate doctor with a vast experience in the field of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Rahul completed his MBBS in the year 2012 and went on to complete his Masters of Surgery in Ophthalmology from the reputed MGM Medical College and Hospital, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, in the year 2017. Post which, he completed his cataract microsurgery fellowship at Laxmi Eye Institute, Panvel, Maharashtra. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Administration (PGDHA) from Med Varsity, Apollo Hospital, Delhi, India.

Dr. Rahul completed his Senior Residency in the field of Ophthalmology from the prestigious ABVIMS and Dr.Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, Delhi, India; where he worked extensively on a high volume of cases and got trained in super-specialties of Cataract, Cornea & Ocular surface and Glaucoma, for a period of three years. During this stint, he was actively involved in the teaching and mentoring of postgraduate students as well.

Before moving to UAE, Dr. Rahul worked as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in New Delhi, India.

He has performed a high number of various ophthalmic surgeries like topical phacoemulsification with premium IOLs, Iris claw IOL implantations, strabismus surgeries, corneal surgeries like TPK, PK, corneal perforation repair, amniotic membrane grafting for ocular surface disorders, Vitreoretinal surgeries like PPV with IOL/ Nucleus drop, DCR/ DCT, Trabeculectomy surgery, lid surgeries, Pterygium surgeries and administration of intravitreal injections.

Dr. Rahul has presented research papers at various national and international conferences like AIOC, DOSCON, ISMSICS, IIRSI, ESCRS-Athens, VuExplorer – Paris; and has won numerous accolades for the same.

He has been actively involved in numerous research activities and has publications in various national and international journals of repute.

Dr. Rahul also has a keen interest in innovation and already has a patent and a trademark to his name in the field of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Rahul is a member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Delhi Ophthalmological Society and All India Ophthalmological Society.
