Dr. Mahira is a fellow of the Royal College of Radiologist London (FRCR) with CCST certification. She is also a fellow and member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (FCPS and MCPS) in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Mahira completed her MBBS from Dow Medical College Karachi, Pakistan

Most recently, Dr. Mahira was associated with Fakeeh University Hospital as a Consultant Interventional Breast Radiologist, where she started breast radiology and set-up the breast radiology department. She has also worked with Mediclinic City Hospital for more than 9 years & was the Head of Department at the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Centre, DHCC, Dubai.

Dr. Mahira is a highly experienced radiologist with more than 26 years of experience. She is working as a Consultant Radiologist and specializes in assessing and diagnosing breast lesions and offers diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive breast procedures under multimodality guidance (ultrasound guided, mammogram guided and MRI guided) biopsies and intervention including FNA, Core biopsies, Vacuum assisted biopsies / excisions and preoperative localizing device placements as hookwires, MAG- seeds etc. She also specializes in diagnosing small impalpable lesions (smaller than even 5.0 mm) and clusters of microcalcificatiuons.

Dr. Yunus is highly experienced in sectional body imaging (CT, MRI, ultrasound and CT guided and ultrasound guided biopsies and intervention).
