Dr. Layth completed his Bachelors of General Medicine & Surgery from Al Mustansiriya University, College of Medicine, Iraq and went on to do his diploma in Emergency Medicine from Baghdad University, Iraq. He received his Jordanian Board Certification in Accidents and Emergency Medicine and Arab Board Certification in Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine UK (MRCEM). Dr. Layth has an extensive experience of working across Iraq, Oman and Qatar.
