Dr. Anil completed his MBBS from The TN Dr. MGR Medical University, Chennai, India, and thereafter worked as a Senior House Officer in Pediatrics & Neonatology at several hospitals in the UK. He later did his specialist training in Pediatrics from Oxford Deanery. Following this, Dr. Anil did National Grid Training Programme in Neonatal Medicine at reputed tertiary neonatal units at Oxford and London. He worked as a Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Oxford with Wellcome Trust-funded research of using 3D ultrasound in preterm infants and is a D.Phil candidate. He obtained a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (Neonatal Medicine) from General Medical Council, London.

Before joining us, Dr. Anil worked as a consultant in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London covering in-patients in neonatal intensive care, neonatal surgical intensive care, (including infants born extremely premature), general neonatal follow-up clinics, and neurodevelopmental clinics. Alongside, he also took the management responsibilities for the unit and was the Lead for North West London Neonatal Fellowship Program, Lead Clinician for neonatal database management for the unit, Lead Clinician for neurodevelopmental clinics for late preterm infants. Dr. Anil has extensive experience in fixed-wing neonatal air transfers. He is also an active academician, teaching and training medical students from Imperial College medical school, and junior doctors from North West London Deanery of Health Education England (HEE). In UAE, he has worked part-time at American Hospital, Dubai as a Consultant neonatologist.

Dr. Anil is a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, London, and is a member of the British Association of Perinatal Medicine. He is registered with General Medical Council, UK & Tamil Nadu Medical Council, Chennai, India
