We are pleased to introduce to you Dr. Iyad Ahmad Issa, Consultant – Gastroenterology at Emirates Hospital Day Surgery, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Dr. Iyad obtained his M.D. from the American University of Beirut and completed a Diploma in Internal Medicine & Gastroenterology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center.
Dr. Iyad was head of the Division of Gastroenterology at Rafik Hariri University Hospital (RHUH), as well as an associate at Clemenceau Medical Center (a Johns Hopkins International Affiliate). Throughout his career, he was also a consultant Gastroenterologist for Cure Medical Centers (Abu Dhabi).
Twenty papers Dr. Issa has authored/co-authored in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology have been published in high-impact International Journals over the past few years. Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Functional Disorders, and GI Bleed are among his main areas of interest/research.
